Read (or listen) to the Bible reading for today and then have a chat with an adult about these questions:
- Who made the rules that Jesus broke (hint: Exodus and Deuteronomy)
- Why did the man in charge of the meeting place get upset?
- Why do you think Jesus broke the rules?
- What are some "rules" that we, as Christians, need to break?
- What is one thing you can do this week which will make you stand out for Jesus?

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for all the great things that you have put in this world for us.
Please give us the courage to stand out for Jesus and to follow His ways and to be an example of what it means to love you with our whole heart, mind and soul.
Please help us to know and do what is right in your eyes, rather than what is popular in the eyes of the world.
