Activity 2: Hear Jesus - Kid's Spot

Source: Kids on the Move (USA)

Activity 3: Hear Jesus

Click on the movies below to read and hear the Bible Passage and then see if you can answer the questions

Genesis 4:1-16  Think about this:

  • Why do you think Cain killed his brother?

  • Do you think Cain broke the 6th commandment before or after he killed his brother?

Matthew 5: 21 -22 Think about this:

  • What did Jesus say about being angry and hateful towards other people?
  • How do we know that God loves everyone and that we wants us to love everyone? (Hint: have a look at Matthew 22: 36-40)
  • How can we show love to people even though they have hurt us or made us angry?

Activity 4: Live and Share Jesus - Fun @ Home

CREATE A LEGO STORY OF CAIN AND ABEL
Here are some ideas kids and parents can get involved in together at home this week:
  • Be a LegoMaster: Get your Brickmaster on and  recreate the story of Cain and Abel out of Lego.
  • Have a Dance Party: Put on your favourite music and have a family game of Musical Statues!
  • Craft: Write a nice letter to someone you haven't spoken to for a while, decorate it and send it in the post.
  • Pray together that we will be kind to each other and love each other as we should.
