Discipleship Ministry

In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus gives his disciples the command: 

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Jesus continues to rule with all authority in heaven and on earth today therefore this command is of vital importance to all people.

At Mona Vale Anglican we are disciples of Jesus and therefore we are committed to living out this command and letting it shape every aspect of our church life. 

Our ministries are built around inviting people to become disciples of Jesus through knowing and experiencing the power and depth of Gods love. Then as disciples of Jesus helping them to grow in obedience to the commands of Jesus by living out his greatest command to love.

Our desire is to help people along this journey whatever their age, gender or stage of life. Our ministries have been built with this clear purpose in mind.
