Seniors Ministry
Entering into retirement brings with it much change but also lots of opportunities. Often retirees downsize and cut their living costs. It can require some big adjustments for married couples. Then there is the big question of how best to use the time that retirement affords. Sometimes these changes can be faced with trepidation. Mona Vale is an area where there are many retirement villages and nursing homes. So there are many people in the area who are facing these similar changes together.
8am Congregation

The 8am congregation at Mona Vale Anglican is where many retirees who belong to the church meet each week. The format of the service is traditional prayer book which is familiar to many who are entering into retirement. There is a strong Bible Study ministry among the retirees in the church. The goal is to support each other as disciples of Jesus when facing the big questions and changes that go along with being a senior.

Ladies Fellowship Craft Group
The Ladies "Creat and Chat" craft group meets on alternate Fridays each month. Bring a craft project you are working on and come and enjot this is a wonderful time of relationship building and connecting with each other.

Retirement Villages and Nursing Homes
During the week Mona Vale Anglican conducts services at some of the retirement villages and nursing homes in the area such as Seabeach retirement village, Minkara retirement village, George Mockler retirement village, and Ocean View nursing home. Many of the regular members of Mona Vale Anglican who live in these facilities attend. The services are especially helpful for those who find it difficult to make it along to the church building. The services provide an opportunity for people in these facilities to hear some faithful Bible teaching and to meet with other Christians.
