Gospel Partnership
We believe that we are called into partnership with God in speaking about the work of his Son, Jesus Christ; and living lives worthy of the gospel by the power of his Spirit (Philippians 1).
Gospel Centred
This partnership means that we are gospel centred (Philippians 1:5), the gospel is God’s good news that he has reconciled us to himself as his children through the completed work of Christ.
Relationships
This partnership means that we will grow relationships in the name of Christ to build his church. Relationships are vital in this partnership to which God has called us, and we need to intentionally work at relationships in the family of God, especially with those we do not know so well, to encourage them and serve them in the gospel.
Perseverance
This partnership means that we will be courageous even in the face of opposition because we know who we are in Christ (his adopted children), and we know the future that he has for us is beyond anything we can imagine, and no person or thing can rob us of that glorious future.
Mission-centred
So we will be mission-centred, seeking to bravely engage the community around us, and the wider world with the gospel of Christ (Philippians 1:27).
Generous
This partnership also means that we will be generous (Philippians 1:7). Because of who we are in Christ, we will generously give of our time, talents and treasure to further the work of the gospel in Mona Vale and Australia and overseas.

Prayerful
Since God has called us into partnership with him, prayer plays a vital and central role in how we engage in that partnership. In Philippians 1:9-11 Paul spells out for us the contents of gospel shaped prayer.
“And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God”.

Partnership@MVA
To be a member of Mona Vale Anglican Church will involve being engaged in partnership. Together we are working to glorify Jesus Christ in the world and to make a difference for eternity. We can only do this if we are meeting regularly together on Sunday's and mid-week in Bible Study groups and if we are sharing our lives with each other and loving those in our community.
Our partnership will involve being focused upon making Jesus known in our world, praying for each other and the world around us, and giving regularly and generously to the work of the gospel. Our partnership in the gospel is not something that we take lightly for we are passionate about our great God and we want to see others know the joy of being in relationship with Him too.

Partnership Organisations
In addition to our partnership as church members we are in partnership with a number of other Christian organisations. We have the same goal of making a different for eternity together through Jesus Christ and so we have decided to do that together and help each other out. So much more can be achieved when we work together in God's great big plans rather than trying to do it on our own. We greatly appreciate our partners because they are a wonderful blessing in our own lives. Please click through to the page on Partner Organisations to see who it is that we are in partnership with.
