Family Ministry
With marriage and kids come a whole range of new responsibilities. Life takes on a different shape to what it ever has before. It is possible for families to get sidetracked from what really matters. Our goal at Mona Vale Anglican is to partner with families. Together we want to build our church family, our own families and the future of our kids. We want to get alongside parents to help them and their children to grow spiritually. Our conviction is that this happens when the church and family come together and complement each other as Christian disciples.
Family @ 4
The 10am morning church is the central hub from which our family ministry operates. We preach from the Bible to equip parents to raise their families spiritually. We have a concurrent children's program to equip and teach children (see the children's ministry page).
The families will often get together for a picnic in the park. There are a range of different mid-week groups for mums and dads to get together with others in a similar stage of life and study the Bible. At the core of our family ministry is a community where we seek to love and support each other through the ups and downs of life. We believe in a compassionate God who helps us in our time of need. |
